Why I love working at Sharkey’s

Working at Sharkey’s gives me an experience that is very rewarding and memorable. I have been here since we opened and I like working here because I love to see the children gleaming with joy after their haircuts. The feeling of a child’s happiness is definitely the most rewarding aspect of all. In addition, I love to chat with my amazing co-workers. Seeing them every day is certainly one of the most comforting feelings in the world. Sharkey’s is such a great workplace with the most hardworking and dedicated individuals I have ever seen. I like working at Sharkey’s because I enjoy working with kids. I have been here almost three years now and I put in my whole heart and soul to each and every haircut.  It’s satisfying when your done with the cut and that child looks in the mirror and lights up with a smile because they love their cut and style.  Sharkey’s does so much for the kids.  From giving out lollipops, balloons, complementary nail polish and so much more.  We all work together as a big family and its great to be here.  -Marilyn, Stylist

There are many many things I love about working at Sharkey’s. But my favorite part is seeing the faces of little girls light up when I turn the car around and they see their new haircut. There’s no greater feeling then making a little girl realize just how pretty she really is. – Melanie, Assistant
