1.I was very nervous about getting my baby's long golden locks cut at a salon again after a bad experience at K.A.O.S. But our stylist was very kind and not only was she good with my kid, she actually knew how to give a little boy haircut. She even took extra time to give it another pass with some texturizing shears to make sure it looked perfect. My son loved sitting in the race car, watching Elmo, and got to experience his first dum-dum sucker. When we left, he looked like a handsome little boy instead of a mop-topped baby. I didn't cry in the salon, but if I had, I'm sure they would have also offered me a dum-dum sucker. Austin, TX 6/22/2011

M O. 5 Sharkeys Cuts For Kids
I usually don't write reviews but our visit to Sharkey's brought my faith in customer service back. After reading their great reviews, I finally made a phone call to make an appointment. I told them that my son can be a bit difficult and he may cry and scream. I was immediately put to ease when the lady laughed and said "he will be fine and we are here to take care of him" She also recommended to bring him on their special Toddler day to get discounted price. I was so impressed with the decor and cleanliness of the salon. My son ran and sat in the red car. They had choices of movies that he could watch. Trey got the best haircut and to my surprise he did not cry at all. At one point he was restless and the lady at the desk got up and started blowing bubbles and brought toys to distract him. He felt special! We used to go to another children's salon where I always felt almost guilty for having a crying child and was rushed thru the haircut. I went home that day and immediately got my 9 year old for a haircut. My older got to play x-box while getting his haircut. He got free shampoo and colored spikes with his haircut. Yes, moms- there is a place where your toddler & your teens can enjoy and get awesome haircuts. I highly recommend this place.
